This policy governs the return and refund of high-quality tools and collectibles (knives, swords, and axes) purchased from www.aublade.com (referred to as "Aublade," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy is designed to be transparent and consistent with consumer protection laws in both the United States and Canada.


 

1. Our 30-Day Guarantee & Eligibility

 

We accept returns for eligible merchandise within 30 days of the date you received your order.

Due to the nature of our products, returned items must adhere to strict condition requirements to be eligible for a refund:

Condition The item must be in original, factory-new condition—unused, unsharpened, and free of any signs of wear, scuff marks, or damage.
Packaging The item must be returned in its original product packaging (e.g., boxes, sheaths, guards, protective wrapping) with all included accessories and documentation.
Tags & Seals All original identification tags, protective seals, and warranty cards must be intact and attached.
Proof of Purchase A receipt or proof of purchase (such as your order number) is required for all returns.

 

2. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

 

The following items are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they were received defective or damaged:

  • Used Blades: Any knife, sword, or axe that shows evidence of cutting, sharpening, alteration, or use (e.g., food residue on a chef's knife, dirt on an outdoor axe, scuffs on a sword blade).

  • Custom or Personalized Items: Any item that has been personalized, engraved, or modified at the customer's request.

  • Items Labeled Final Sale: Products explicitly marked as "Final Sale," "Clearance," or "Non-Returnable" on the product page or invoice.

  • Gift Cards.


 

3. Return Process and Safety Instructions

 

SAFETY WARNING: All returned items are sharp, functional tools or weapons. The customer is responsible for safely and securely packaging all returns. Failure to securely package a sharp object may result in the refusal of the return and/or voiding of the refund.

  1. Request Authorization: Contact our Customer Service team at [aubladeshop@gmail.com] within 30 days of receipt to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns sent without an RMA number may be refused.

  2. Secure Packaging: Sheath or cover all sharp edges securely. Use strong, rigid packaging (like a heavy-duty cardboard box) and ample cushioning to prevent movement and penetration during transit.

  3. Ship the Item: Clearly write your RMA number on the outside of the package. Ship the package to the return address provided by our Customer Service team.

 

Return Shipping Costs:

 

  • For Buyer's Remorse (e.g., Wrong style, changed mind, collector preference): The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured shipping service.


 

4. Refunds and Defective Items

Once your return is received, inspected, and confirmed to be in original, factory-new condition, we will process your refund.

  • Method: A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

  • Shipping Charges: Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to our error or a product defect.

 

Defective or Damaged Items (US & Canada Compliance)

  • If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or not as described, you must contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery).
